A new discovery by the Susan G. Komen Foundation identifies a set of 50 genes that doctors can use to personalize your treatment to fit your type of breast cancer. The new set of genes help identify the four known types of breast cancer. Current genetic testing works on women whose tumors are lymph-node negative, estrogen-receptor positive. This new discovery will help any woman with breast cancer. Go Komen!
